Low crowds and close proximity to Hood River make this one of our favorite locations to SUP.
Kingsley is back! After years of being closed for renovations, this local gem is open for business. The reservoir has been expanded and a new campground has been built along with new infrastructure and facilities. Kingsley is a large body of water with plenty of parking, Mt. Hood views, and is stocked with fish! This is a very SUP and family friendly area!
Access Information
From the parking lot we recommend pumping up at your car and then carrying your SUP down to the water near the boat ramp.
Be cognizant of the wind conditions. Sometimes wind can make it hard to paddle back to the launch.
